Our class trip to the Europabad

We, the class 8b, had collected 100 praise stars. When we have collected 100 stars, we are allowed to vote for a day trip with the class. This time we did not go in to the jump house, like last year we voted democratically for the “Europabad”. The “Europabad” is a fun swimming pool in Karlsruhe with lots of action slides.

On Monday, 27.01 we met in at the school to talk about the rules.
A bit later we walked to the train station. With our train we went to Karlsruhe main station. Then we took the tram to the ”Europabad”. When we arrived there the Europabad wasn‘t open yet, so we walked through the “Günther-Glotz-Anlage”. It was a bit cold and nobody wanted to walk. Next we walked back to the Europabad. After a few minutes we went in. Then we took on our swimming suites and met inside. After that we showered and finally, we were allowed to swim. Some of us went down water slides others to the steaming bath and some just swam. A bit later, most of us ate something in the bistro. At half past twelve we went to the shower and we got ready to leave. We met in the lobby and went back home. It was a cool and fun day. We hope, we make a class trip soon again.
